In the restaurant “La Rocca” you will be welcomed into an elegant veranda from where you will enjoy the view of the Mount Cetona and the extraordinary landscape which stretches until Siena.

In summer we serve you on a terrace in the garden among olives and jasmines overlooking the valley underneath and the wonderful hill of Bardano.

The warm and discreet welcome from our dining room staff will delight you with selected sparkling wines and a tasty “amuse bouche”.

Our menu is based on dishes belonging to the Umbria cooking traditions which our chef Ernesto Pelliccia reinterprets with creativity. Besides, we offer you special tasting menus as well as fresh fish specialties to the more demanding gourmets.

Our menus vary according to seasons in order to exalt the products of our territory: mushrooms in autumn, white truffle, game and home-produced olive oil in winter.

Our kitchen staff prepares the different varieties of bread and egg pasta, the refined small pastry which precedes dessert and the tempting chocolates served with coffee.

Our selected wine list displays the wines from our “Cantina Altarocca” (Altarocca Cellar) and offers a wide range of still wines and sparkling wines, champagnes and dessert wines.

Our maître sommelier will recommend you on the best wine-food matches and, if you wish, he will show you our stock of vintage wines.
